About us

A study by Sheu (2016) identified that from 2011 to 2014, there was an average estimate of 8.6 million sports- and recreation-related injury episodes reported. The injury rate among males between the ages of 5-14 years old was higher (Sheu, 2016). The issue is that many young adults are now participating in sports which is excellent; however, they are not being adequately trained to stay healthy. Coaches are only qualified for sports-specific but do not know how to help correct an athlete’s movement.  At Move Athletics, we believe in preventive care. We want to allow athletes to be healthy and reduce sports and recreation-related injury episodes.

Our trainers are certified personal trainers from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Corrective Exercise Specialist, and CrossFit Level 2 trainers.
